JANE ADDAMS: A HOUSE FROM KUDU
A POLISHED DIAMOND FACING SOUTH!
Jane Addams consists of two interconnected buildings facing south in central Brunnshög, Lund – a modern concept with rental apartments and commercial spaces, complete with conference rooms, workspaces, a rooftop terrace, and an overnight accommodation, as well as a lush and varied courtyard.
Healthcare and maternity care centers, a café, a bakery, and a restaurant are also housed in the property, providing both convenience and accessibility at the highest level.
The project is designed by Sweco Architects applying materials and solutions carefully chosen based on Kudu’s trademark focus on sustainability and a traditional context.

NATURAL AND BEAUTIFUL MATERIALS
Living room, kitchen, and bedroom floors are covered by oak parquet, and the walls are painted white.
The windows have natural stone windowsills and built-in blinds.
In the hallway, in addition to the oak parquet, there is a tiled area just inside the entrance. Here, you’ll also find a coat rack and wardrobes for convenient storage.
TIMELESS AND PRACTICAL BATHROOMS
The bathrooms are fully tiled with square, white tiles, and the floor has grey, matte ceramic tiles.
The bathroom fixtures are fresh and white, and the bathrooms are fully equipped with, among other things, a shower corner or shower wall, as well as a towel warmer.
Above the washing machine and dryer, there is a grey laminate countertop for added convenience.
OUR VERSATILE AND GREEN COURTYARD
The neighborhood encloses an inviting courtyard where the greenery is lush and of varying character – blooming plants and trees that provide shade that provide lots of space for numerous activities.
Rainwater is delayed on the sedum-covered roofs and collected in rain barrels in the courtyard for watering of the garden. The courtyard offers plenty of covered bicycle parking, and there is a pump and tools available for minor repairs.
For the younger explorers in the neighborhood, there are green spaces and water play areas in the courtyard, and just a stone’s throw away is Nobelparken with a wide variety of play, sports, and activities for all ages.
